Summer Housing
The Campus Living – Housing contracts for Summer Session I and II will be available April 1, 2026.
Current and new students can sign up by visiting the ECU PiratePort web site. You will select which session(s) you need summer housing for when you submit the application: Summer Session 1, Summer Session 2, or both Summer Sessions.
Cotten Hall will be the residence hall for Summer 2026!
Cotten Hall is a great place to spend your summer! Many of the rooms overlook Trustees Fountain near the main entrance to campus. Room and window sizes vary because of the hall’s historic nature. Located just a short walk from many classroom buildings and the Joyner Library, Cotten Hall features mostly double rooms with community bathrooms on each floor. Like all ECU residence halls, every room is air conditioned and includes a microwave oven and small refrigerator. Laundry facilities are available in the building, along with lounges where students can study or relax with friends.
Housing rates for each first and second summer session(s) are:
- Air-Conditioned Double Occupancy Room $572 per summer session
- Air-Conditioned Single Occupancy Room $856 per summer session
Most rooms are set up as doubles even if rented as a single. Both sets of furniture will and must remain in the room. The availability of single occupancy rooms for summer will be very limited. Most students will receive a double occupancy assignment.
